Going Vegetarian

This was one of the best decisions I have made in my lifetime. I went from eating meat at almost every meal, to not needing it at all anymore. It was supposed to be temporary but it ended up lasting from what I learned. I felt less sluggish and it made my body work more efficiently: more energy, more time to do things, power though work outs. It honestly made me feel great and ended up making me lose ten pounds just because it changed my habits so much.

Some may be thinking: but I won’t get enough protein in my diet! But without meat, an average person eats enough protein in their daily diet. And if you’re on a strict workout schedule and are building muscle, there are better options than meat for protein. Many meats are packed with lots of sodium to make them taste good and last longer. We all know what too much salt can wreak on the body.

Thus this is something I recommend entirely. Going vegetarian is not only better for the environment but better for your body too. You get a lot more energy from veggies than from meat because they only gives us a small amount of energy compared to non meat products. And the shipping of meat that has recently been slaughtered to death produces lots of gases that go into the environment and the greenhouse gases that it takes to grow cows to maturity is not worth the risk in our fragile world.
